Norquay Technology, Inc. logo Lab Purification Program

The evaluation program builds confidence and moves stepwise to commercial quantities.

Step 1:

"Free Peek": Evaluation sample of 10-100 gram at no cost to customer. Lab evaluation to determine if compound is similar to one of the 1200 compounds already evaluated. After a verbal consultation with the customer, the customer project will fall into one of the following:

(A) Product can definitely be purified, we have run similar materials.
(B) Initial results not conclusive, need to look at a formal program to qualify initial purification leads.
(C) Material is not a candidate for current techniques.

Step 2:

Lab Scale Evaluation and make a 100 gram QC Reference Sample: For a nominal fee, a 50-200 gram sample is purified to reference sample levels (99.99+% pure). In addition, all materials isolated, including the concentrated impurities and QC Reference Sample, are sent to the customer. Nominal QC analysis and method development can be part of the scope of work to demonstrate purification levels.

Step 3:

Pilot Scale leading to Commercial Purification: After Step 2, Norquay will bid on a conversion basis ($/kg input) for purification to support pilot work leading to commercialization.
Commercializations using the pilot scale techniques are directly scalable for many of the purification techniques.
